The atmosphere is way too loud. Where are my ear plugs? The food was even more disgusting and the bread and meat are always burned. Ive eaten here twice. That was 2x too many.

I visited this establishment twice now. The first time was great. Great parking, got a seat right away. The waitress came quickly and took our drink order. Our food came out quickly and w/o any issues. She was very attentive. Overall the first time was great. Now the second time...... Not so good. We sat right away, but the service was atrocious. Obviously I sat in an area where there was no waitress assigned. Other people came after me and was greeted right away. Almost 15-20 min. Went by and nothing. Then I see another waitress come on shift and after everyone figured out who covered which station, I was finally served. It's no fault of hers, but the management needs to fix this. I read others' reviews and they all have a common tone: the service sucks!!!! At least my waitress was apologetic and was attentive. But my food came out all wrong. I ordered my son beef tacos 2 of them. What came out was 4 of the FISH tacos. Luckily he's not allergic to fish! If he'd taken a bite, it would've been disastrous! That kind of mistake can be detrimental! My waitress comped one of my glasses of wine, which was nice. This place can be great if they get her act together and solve their customer service issues!

My experience was much like that of some of the other post for this place. Went on a Friday for the first time ( maybe the last), service good but I believe a little short staffed. Polite servers, looked like they knew a lot of the patrons as regulars. Prices are about the same as any other similar place when there are no specials running. Main issue was the not so cold beer and the not so good ribs and average fries. I tried what was praised by some post but was disappointed. I have yet to find ribs any place that are better or at par with Flanigan's. And most of the places I've had beer at have been colder then here. The seared tuna was better then I expected but Skullys on sunsets Ahi Tuna is unbeatable. The conch fritters were ok. Ribs were dry. I had the half rack and left half the half rack there and half of a not so cold beer too when I left. Also had a grilled cheese that was to salty. Good luck if you go seems like a hit or miss place.

Writing this review right now because I'm craving their ribs and I think that speaks volumes. If you've never stepped foot in a Hole in the Wall you'd think they're closed. All have extremely dark tints and most aren't even visible from the street. The service is up to par with any other sports bar and they have huge tv's on every wall, making it perfect for well...sport watching. Their wings are okay, not bad but nothing to rave about. Their ribs however are finger licking good. They have their special sauce which really just seems like honey mustard and barbecue and come with fries. The half rack is about $10. Ribs and a pitcher of beer make this girl happy watching any sports event, even if I don't know what's happening.

Im not big on beer or places that dont have a full bar but thats simply due to my love of whiskey however I will say if you want the best fries on the friggin planet come here. Its like omg finger lickin good and not only that you dont even need to add extra salt. They are just perfection. And their wings absolutely delish too. The owner is awesome and its a name thats growing so I really recommend giving it a try a small time find that turns out to be that hole in the wall place you brag to your friends about. Oh and they play country music... KICK ASS.

Twice now I've had to walk out of this place due, not to bad service, but rather non-existent service. There won't be a third... Walked in during Superbowl halftime. Katy Perry is dancing with dolphins and mermaids... There's no room at the bar, but half the tables are empty, so we figure we're in luck, right? Not quite. There's one bartender serving the bar, and one waitress up to her neck in takeout. So overwhelmed is she that not once does she look out on the floor to see what her tables are doing. Katy could've scored a touchdown and she would've never known! At one point, customers who were tired of waiting got up and walked over to the register themselves to settle their bills. And even then she kept them waiting! At that point I was just curious to see how long it would be before she acknowledged us, or anybody, but when I saw Katy shooting across the sky on a star I knew it was time to go, so we just walked out. Went across the street to Pub Grill just as halftime was wrapping up, and had one of the best meals in recent memory. Like I said, twice I've had to walk out of this joint, and a third time from the one on 144th. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. It's a shame too because if the service matched the food this would be one of the best pubs in town...

Once again...a disappointment. My husband and I keep hoping this location will get better. Service is awful. Food is always consistently mediocre. Wish Palmetto Bay had more options. :(

Medium wings and the handmade fries...perfect way to spend a Sunday watching football!

I was looking forward to trying this place out so my BF and I came here for a snack of sorts. I have to tell the service has got to be some orf the worst that I have experienced. Seems to me that if you are not a regular here...forget it. To order my food I had to walk up to the bar after waiting quite a bit for someone to take our order. Mind you the place was not busy at all. We ordered 10 wings mild, grilled and and order of fries. I found the wings to be a bit on the salty side and the fries...well the fries reminded me of Five Guys fries....very greasy.

I'm a little iffy about this review. First of all I must point out that they have the BEST WINGS in town! No questions about that. I took out one star not because of the food, but because of service. I went on a weeknight and as the name says it, it's a hole in the wall, it's a very small place. Service was not there, the staff was all friendly but it took hours to call someone and hours to get what you ordered. I still carry out all the time because their wings are awesome!

Went to my favorite spot nearby for food and football. It was packed, so thought why not give Hole In The Wall another chance. This place, before it was HITW, was a favorite stop of mine, but quickly that went away. Anyway, another chance. Not overly busy, but I believe understaffed or could be the waitresses spend to much time socializing. Food was no more than average. The wife had their pulled pork and I had the brisket. After I finished a beer, I set the glass at the serving side of the bar. The waitress takes it and walks away then goes back to talking with a customer sharing photos on their phone. The other waitress comes by and asks if we needed anything. My wife asked for a takeout container and I said I'm hoping to get another beer. Well, she brings back the container and walks away. Finally, I flag down Miss Social and she honestly looked like I had upset her by wishing she would do her job. She brings the check, it is finalized and out we go. If nothing else, it reinforced why I had stopped patronizing this place. I'll stick with staying across the street or just do a fast food when my good place is busy.

I don't know what happened. Maybe they had the cook from the US1 location on loan for a few weeks during their opening but the food has gone down hill fast. Dry wings, brisket chopped like pull pork, over cooked everything else. What a shame!!!!

Chicken tacos ! The end . Love love. Food is always ready quickly which is perfect for my lunch break at work. No Complaints!

Looks like a great atmosphere, unfortunately I sat at the bar for 15 minutes with no service or even an simple acknowledgement from the staff, come to find out the bar staff was also attending the restaurant part that sits 45. Management should really consider hiring more staff... With no service after 15 min I had no choice but to walk out due to no service received.

This is the second location for Hole in the Wall, the original being at South Dixie Hwy and SW 144th Street. This location used to house Irish Tavern South, which closed some months ago. It's larger than the original location. It's a beer and wine sports bar, with, by my count, 16 television screens on the walls. There are about 12 stools around a U-shaped bar, several high-tops around the periphery, and communal picnic-bench-type seating on the floor. I stopped in to grab lunch, a brew, and some of the 'Canes game on the second day it was open. There was basicly no parking left in the lot, so I parked across the street at the South Dade Shopping Center, which has plenty. The bar was pretty crowded, but there were plenty of waitresses, and one waited on me moments after I was seated. I had a dark Sam Adams (don't ask me which one) on tap, served in a traditional pint glass. Hole in the Wall was allegedly founded by a guy from Keg South, which was known for its burgers. So of course I ordered a burger! Two sized are offered - regular and large. I ordered the regular, which looks to be about six ounces (see uploaded photo). "All the way" included lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and cheese, with chips, according to the menu. Fries can be sustituted for the chips for $1.50, which I did. I ordered one "all the way" done medium. My basket of burger and fries looked great. Hot and juicy burger, and seemingly fresh-cut fries (although frozen-fry companies can be tricky). I took a big bite, and hmmmm, checked the burger - it was well done (over done for me!). Well, it was still pretty good, and I didn't want to wait for a replacement. I took a fry, and ... uh-oh, this fry needs Viagra. Limp as can be. Not fried properly. Oh well, they were tasty. Then I was munching on the burger, trying to be analytical, and I realized the cheese was missing! [sigh] I also ordered 30 wings to go, half "hot" and half "blackened." They were packed and bagged nicely, and I tried some when I got home. The "hot" was good, although kind of mild by my standards. The "blackened" had some cajun-style blackening seasoning on them. They were pretty salty for my taste, so beware. Your milage may vary. By the way, the wings are grilled, not fried. The markings and flavor of the burger indicated that it was char-grilled, too. OK, cheese forgotten, burger overdone, fries maybe rushed. I enjoyed my visit, and the place was not yet opened for 24 hours, so I reserve any harsh judgement. Hopefully it will smooth out, although parking will probably continue to be problematic during weekend hometown football broadcasts.

I have lived near by Hole In The Wall for years and I've never actually stepped foot in here until the other night. Came in with a couple of buddies for some wings and beer. One of my friends that had been here before told me that the fries were pretty epic so we ordered some of those as well. I also threw in an order of jalapeno poppers. The poppers came out first and they were pretty good. It came with a side of a raspberry jam dipping sauce, which I though was weird, but it was pretty good. Then the fries and wings came out. The wings were alright, but I've had better....but unfortunately the fries were cold. I informed the waitress that the fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. She took them back and brought them back a few minutes later and they tasted like it was the same fries but just thrown in the oil again for another minute or two. I didn't send them back again because I didn't want to be a d*ck...but needless to say I was underwhelmed. Not sure if I'll go back in to Hole in the Wall again...especially since I live closer to Cutler Bay Sports Bar, and their food has never disappointed me.

I've gone to this Bar every Friday for the last 3 months. I buy one Bud light draft & 30 medium wings to-go. The beer is always good. I've scouted other local places for wings & I go here because the wings are the biggest, the flavor is good, & it is consistent. I have 1 beer because the wait is usually 15 min., however if the place is jammed packed (I always go at 12:30) then the wait could be longer. In the last 3 months I only waited once 30 min., & they comped me another beer. The wait staff is friendly. Sometimes the Medium wings are on the Mild side. Side Note - (I take the wings to my friends work place & they supply the rest of the beer!). Parking at lunch time can be limited... Wide screen TVs line all the walls... Oh---30 wings & one beer about $30 bucks

Been to hole in the wall once, the 120th location, it was fine, just had beer. This time went to the Eureka location for Taco Tuesday, it was pretty busy, and our waitress forgot to put in our order but coming from the service Industry, me and my girlfriend understand crap happens. She made up for it by putting 3 tacos on the house so thank you!. lets see Taco Tuesday has $1 tacos as long as you order a beer or soda. Your choice of steak, chicken, or pork. I had all 3 and they were great. Steak was my favorite, Can't beat it especially for $1. We had fries too and OMG addicting. My overall experience was great and I will be back.

The layout is better than at the original Hole, the amount of TVs make it perfect for watching the game... The burger was cooked perfectly, the wings tasted great, and the death dog was as spicy and good as at the original. They just opened so you gotta let them get it right. The prices are reasonable: Large burger, 10 wings, & death dog for $24 is not bad in this part of town The death dog is a spicy hot dog with jalapeños and other spicy ingredients. Good if u can take the spice. They have about 10 beers on tap and the selection seemed good. The place was packed on college game niGht.
